Garmin goes for health with new vivofit fitness band

When Garmin announced the new  vivofit fitness band  at the Consumer Electronics Show in January, it
marked the GPS giant’s latest move toward helping customers live an active lifestyle.

While smartphone apps and other technologies may have moved in on Garmin’s bread-and-butter of
navigation systems, vivofit was the perfect illustration of a shift toward active lifestyles.

The vivofit, which sells for only $129.99 on, helps people stick with their fitness plan. 
It learns your activity level and then gives you attainable daily goals. As your body gets stronger,
vivofit increases the difficulty of your goals.

Plus, vivofit is a perfect fitness companion for anyone with a desk job. If you’re inactive for more
