Rino 655t provides comfort under heavy cover

by GPS4US 2014-01-13 12:26

There’s something comforting about the Rino 655t.

Maybe it’s the way the quad helix antenna protrudes from the top of the unit, assuring you it will pick
up GPS signals under heavy cover and never let you get lost.

Maybe it’s the rugged body that fits perfectly in one hand, or maybe it’s the vivid color touchscreen
that guides you along your path.

The Rino is one of our favorites when it comes to outdoor adventures. Not only does it have a
5-megapixel compass so you can record photographic records of your hike, it also comes with a 3-axis
compass so you know where you ‘re heading.

The Rino 655t has preloaded topo 100k maps of the entire United States. Plus, the SD card slot allows
you to add whatever maps you want. We’ve even taken it out on our boat with the BlueChart g2 preloaded
cards, and it works beautifully.

It also has some awesome social and safety aspects. When we took a pair of Rino 655t’s hunting, the
Position Reporter feature – which allows you to send your exact location  to and other Rino user – came
in handy.

You can also use the Rino 655t to show you tracks, waypoints and geocaches through Garmin Connect.

Right now, the Rino 655t is available for only $498.95 in our store.
