You get 27,000 (so far) preloaded golf courses worldwide, with no
subscriptions or fees. Your Approach S3 also shows you yardage to the
front, back and middle of the green, all on a glove-friendly touch
screen display. With Green View, youll have no problem knowing the
distance you need to layup or deal with a pesky dogleg. You also get
customizable yardage for all your shots, and the printable digital
scorecard has stroke play and Stableford scoring.
Move the pin around
With
Green View, youll see the true shape and layout of the green. And the
touchscreen allows you to move the pin to the correct location. So, if
youre on a Par-3, youll know whether to club up or down.
Customize your courses
The
Approach S3 is the size of a typical sports watch, yet it comes loaded
with more than 27,000 courses throughout the world. If thats not
enough, you can download all the courses you need for free, as soon as
Garmin releases them.
Know the distance
Youll
not only get distances all over the green, youll also know how far
that dogleg is. Your Approach S3 lets you enter and save customizable
yardage points such as water hazards and bunkers.
Know the score and your shot
The
Approach S3 is also a digital scorecard that supports both stroke play
and Stableford scoring. You can save, review and print your scorecards
from your computer, and when you boom a long drive, you can measure it
with the Measure Shot feature.
A smart looking watch
Your Approach S3 comes in either white with red trim or black with gray trim, so youll always look the part of a great golfer.
Not just for the course
Not
only is the Approach S3 great for golf, you can wear it off the course
too. Its odometer shows you how far you walked each day, and the round
timer helps you keep track of your game time.
