The compact, all-in-one GXM 30A XM Smart Antenna delivers XM Satellite weather and audio to your compatible Garmin unit. With the GXM 30A and a subscription to XM services, you can check the weather or listen to the radio when you travel with your compatible marine or aviation product.

Setting up the GXM 30A is fast and easy. Simply position the antenna where it has a clear view of the sky and connect it directly to the USB port on your unit. Then choose the XM subscription that best fits your needs to start receiving XM satellite services.
Choose Your Subscription
The type of information GXM 30A provides to your unit depends on your subscription package. With a subscription to XM WX Weather, portable marine and aviation products display detailed weather, including NEXRAD radar. You can also add XM Satellite Radio to these units for non-stop commercial-free programming.

by John G, , 2/22/2011I purchased this GXM 30A receiver because I thought the previous one that I had was defective. The Zumo 550 would shut off when the XM started. When I plugged in this antenna, it did the same thing. After contacting Garmin supprot, I sent it in for repairs. I also asked, Will the old antenna work, or did it cause the problem?
