Features
The Garmin quatix is the GPS navigator marine watch for all avid mariners. Whether you’re racing your dinghy or taking your kayak out on the water or powering up your boat, the Quatix will guide your way. It gives you an unbelievable range of marine navigation features, including a remote control for Garmin equipment, MOB detection and streaming NMEA 2000 data and a navigating marine watch. It comes with amazing sailing features such as virtual starting line, a race countdown timer, tidal information and tack assist. Plus, the automatically calibrating altimeter and barometer and 3-axis compass, temperature sensor and tide information means you’ll always have the most up to date information on your wrist. It’s also compatible with Garmin’s apps, so you can share data.Data streamed right to your watch
Pair the quatix with a separate Garmin GNT 10 NMEA Transceiver to wirelessly stream NMEA 2000 data right to your watch¹. You’ll see wind speed, direction, water depth and more.
A sailor’s dream
The Quatix gives you advanced racing tools for amazing awareness during your competition. You can set up a virtual starting point between two waypoints and combine the starting line with the built-in countdown timer to figure out your distance to the line and available burn time. That means you can cross the line at maximum speed at the exact start time. During the race, the quatix goes into Tack Assist mode, indicating whether your boat is headed or lifted based on optimal track angle.
Go on autopilot
The quatix comes with remote capabilities, which lets you control a Garmin autopilot and move around your boat with the most important information and control on your wrist.
MOB activation
If one of your quatix-wearing crew members goes overboard, the quatix automatically sends an MOB alert to the chartplotter when you have the separate GNT 10 NMEA Transceiver.
All the info you need
The separate HomePort marine planning software lets you plot or review your outing from your computer using Windows or Mac OS. You can also create your own course and download it to your quatix. For even more mobility, connect your quatix with an iPad, iPhone 5 or iPhone 4s to use the separate BlueChart Mobile.
