Mini GPS means quick case for cops

by GPS4US 2014-01-24 10:26

You might want to start tagging your valuables with GPS trackers.

It really could come in handy someday.

Take the case of Phoenix resident Allen Crosby. Crosby loves technology, so he tagged his stuff with
tiny GPS trackers just in case.

And, wouldn’t you know, they were stolen earlier this month. Clearly, the thief didn’t get away with it.

The GPS trackers helped cops track down about $10,000 worth of electronics and jewelry.

Using a smartphone app with the trackers, authorities didn’t have to hunt too hard for the perp.

“We actually watched the vehicle pull directly into the suspect’s driveway,” Crosby said to KPHO. “We
then saw the bag move into house and we were able to pinpoint the exact room where it was in via
satellite image.”

From there, it didn’t take much to arrest 37-year old James Yunis.

So now you know what GPS can do for you.
