You’ll read preloaded, detailed maps of North America on a vivid 7-inch display. You
get free lifetime¹ maps, meaning you’ll never find yourself on the wrong route. You
can download new maps up to four times a year for the life of your nüvi 2797LMT,
meaning you’ll get updated points of interest and navigation information with no fees.

nüvi 2797LMT comes preloaded with millions of points of interests including
businesses, stores and restaurants. You don’t even need to enter the address, just
choose your desired destination from the list. And, if millions isn’t enough for you,
you can always add your own points of interest.

Garmin Traffic

nüvi 2797LMT features Garmin Traffic, which helps you spend more time moving and less
time idling. Garmin Traffic keeps your map onscreen at all times, but traffic alerts
appear in the margins. You’ll also receive spoken messages. With Garmin Traffic,
you’ll know the details you need to know, including the estimated time of the delay
and any possible detours. Garmin Traffic will also confirm if you are on the fastest
route. And, it is voice activated, so you can speak directly to your nüvi 2797LMT.
With lifetime traffic² your nüvi 2797LMT will receive free traffic information for
its entire useful life.

Find your voice

With voice-activated navigation, your nüvi 2797LMT is always listening, and always
ready to talk. When you speak, your nüvi 2797LMT responds intelligently, so you can
keep your hands on the wheel. Of course, when you need it, you can always use the
nüvi 2797LMT’s touchscreen interface.

Use your Bluetooth

You can sync your Bluetooth-enabled device, like your smartphone, to the nüvi 2797LMT
for hands free calling with its integrated microphone and speaker. That way, you can
concentrate on the road instead of holding your phone.

It works with your smartphone

You can use Smartphone Link, a free mobile app, to connect your nüvi 2797LMT with
your Android. When linked, nüvi 2797LMT can share information through your phone’s
data plan. That way, you’ll always know where you parked, upcoming points of interest
and your destination.

With Smartphone Link, you’ll also have access to Garmin Live Services, with real-time
information on traffic and weather conditions. Garmin Live Services are available
free and by subscription.

Real Directions, Real Voice

nüvi 2797LMT  comes with Garmin Real Directions and Real Voice, taking turn-by-turn
directions to the next level. The easily-understood spoken commands sound like a
friend riding shotgun. Real Directions uses recognizable landmarks, buildings and
traffic lights to guide you, so you don’t need to worry about reading street names
anymore. Both Garmin Real Voice and Garmin Real Directions are available only in
Garmin GPS navigators.

Fear lane changes no more

Your nüvi 2797LMT gives you active Lane guidance, allowing you to navigate an exit or
interchange with ease. As you approach the interchange, you’ll see brightly colored
arrows letting you know if you need to change lanes. You’ll also receive voice
guidance, and BirdsEye junction view gives you a detailed overhead vision of your
interchange. Further, photoReal junction view gives you realistic images of junctions
and interchanges. Plus, your nüvi 2797LMT depicts real road signs as they appear.

The information you need

Your nüvi 2797LMT shows your driving map at all times. You’ll see additional
information in the margins. If you need details, just touch the screen. While you
drive, Up Ahead regularly reminds you of nearby services and POIs.

Your nüvi 2797LMT also shows the speed limit, your current speed and an accurate time
of arrival. Just glance down to see your current speed, and you can also receive
school zone warnings.

Easily manage your device

Garmin Express will help you keep your nüvi 2797LMT current, making it easy to update
maps and software, and transfer favorites to and from devices and install free custom
vehicles and voices.
