The Approach G3 uses its Green View feature to calculate your distance. All you need to do is tap the flag on your screen to zoom in on the green. Drag the flag to where you see it on the green, and you’ll get even more accurate yardage.
Target touch
If you need to know the distance for your next shot, just touch your target on the sunlight-readable display. Approach will show you the distance you need to cover, whether it’s a fairway, hazard, landing area or anywhere on the green.
You’ll know the score
Your Approach G3 also works as a digital scorecard. Afterward, you can save all your scores for free on Garmin’s website, so you can always remember that eagle on 5 or that double bogey on 17.
